Our second thematic meeting on the topic data took place on 21st and 22nd February 2022. This meeting again was held digitally and was organized by our network members Karoline Döring and Marco Heiles. Both days of the meeting offered the workshop-method world café. On 21st February Olaf Simons (Forschungszentrum Gotha der Universität Erfurt), Mathias Manecke (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek,
Arbeitsstelle für Standardisierung (AfS, Leipzig)) and Bent Gebert (Universität Konstanz, Fachbereich Literaturwissenschaft, Ältere deutsche Literaturwissenschaft) were invited as experts for the topic “Reasearch Data Management: Wikisystems, Linked Open Data and Authority Files”. As an attunement Marco Heiles held an introduction to Wikidata in the morning. On 22nd February we discussed the topic “Networked Storage Systems: Disciplinary Repositories and Research Databases” with the experts Barbara Fischer (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, Arbeitsstelle für Standardisierung (AfS, Leipzig)), Monika Denker (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, Universitätsbibliothek Johann Christian Senckenberg, hebis-Verbundzentrale) and Paul Warner (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, Universitätsbibliothek Johann Christian Senckenberg, hebis Verbundzentrale). Our network member Karoline Döring also offered one discussion table in this world café and got involved as an expert.
