On May 27th a German blog post with the title “Methodenkritik. Einblicke und Lessons Learned im Umgang mit Linked Open Data” by our network members Nora Ketschik and Max Grüntgens was published on the blog Mittelalter. It deals with the findings that emerged from our thematic meeting 5 with the topic “methodological criticism”, that took place on October 5th and 6th in Stuttgart. The article names challenges in dealing with digital data as well as LOD and formulates possible solutions clustered in five categories. The aim is to reduce fear of contact, overcome barriers, create supporting infrastructure, promote the re-use of resources and exchange within the research community.
